The materials I had to work with today sucked they were very dusty and glassy and now I am all itchy

My Logitech laser mouse's scroll bar was feeling clogged up, so I poured some hand sanitizer on it and it freed the scroll bar up, but then it messed up the scrolling! Agh! I'm gonna have to get a new mouse. I'm using my Xbox 360 controller as a mouse at the moment.

I heard foxes screaming one time in the middle of the night and thought that it was a woman or child screaming.  I got dressed and went outside to see if I could tell where the sound was coming from because there was no way that I was going to stay in bed and find out the next morning that someone had gotten hurt and I did nothing to help them.

 I had a similar experience one summer night, hearing eerie, half-birdlike/half-human
 sounds that I eventually learned were raccoon screams.  Wild animals are scary!

My Irlen lenses still haven't come in the mail yet. I rang up about it two weeks ago and they said it would take another week. It is over that now, this is driving me crazy and I am wondering if they have messed up the address like they did last year.

^I can only call the person that tested me and it isn't her fault that it is taking so long. I just hope my glasses aren't lost in the mail or something. Going to have to call again though, you are right.

 Yes, if someone at the company can tell you where the glasses were sent, maybe
 you can get them traced and sent to your proper address.  Good luck!

hot water pipe burst this morning as i was sleepily working on breakfast.

called the landlord, who first said there wasn't a shutoff to the house, then admitted he didn't know where it was. Went outside at his direction to the water meter; he said use a wrench but from the look of it a special tool was needed. shut off hot water heater and what looked like a cutoff from there. told pk to fill the tub, no water pressure at all, not even cold water.

Why? Because in my half asleep state, the first thing I had done was go to the cutoff valve and shut off the water supply to the house.

the pipe (plastic of some sort) under the sink looks nasty - like something chewed a hole in it. not the first time i have had to tell the landlord how to fix his own house.

I am better now that I have had my tater tots.
