I remember losing my glasses in the house somewhere and I had to put contact lenses in so I could find them. Now if I lose them I am in trouble, I don't have contact lenses any more. But generally, my glasses are always on my face.

I am only nearsighted, do not need them to see. But I cannot read street signs, etc. It would be kind of dangerous to drive on the parkway lol. this SUCKS

Nearsighted so you can't see distance? That would suck definitely. I hate being without my glasses. I notice if I leave my bedroom without them so I guess my vision is not that good.

My earplugs are irritating my ear canals, and I had fluid behind my ear drums and a bit of pain a few days ago.  My hearing is really sensitive; I get irritated by the ultrasonic hums from electronics and impact noises like dishes contacting each other while emptying the dishwasher or lengths of wood being dropped onto concrete when I'm working outside are physically painful without hearing protection, so I wear earplugs almost constantly.  They're high-quality reusable silicone ones with filters that are designed to attenuate sound without distorting it, and I've used them for years without problems until now.

I just remembered that I have a pair, and I'll try wearing them for a while; the difference in the positioning in my ear of the foam ones versus the silicone ones might give my ear canals a chance to heal if I wear them for a few days.

I always did better with giant fucking earmuff headphones for when my ears get irritated by other stuff and I still need to block out noise for my own sanity.
