I'm such a perfectionist when it comes to painting/varnishing stuff.. I tire myself (out) over a little patch of wood (of the oak dinner table) that still doesn't 'co-operate' after two layers of varnish.

Bugger. In dubio if I should give the table an extra layer now.

Well, it's almost inherent with a detail viewer, (or s/o who finds details important also), I reckon. The big picture/the table as a whole looks fine but knowing/seeing the patch there.. tjah.. Think if it stays in my face, waving hello too much, the coming week, I'll probably do the extra layer.

My mum shocked me this year, when helping me redecorate the rooms of my girls. She wasn't that obsessive any more. She said age had helped her get over the worst.

Changed cable and internet providers my one problem is the new cable TV box does not have a clock on it like the last one now we have to get one for the living room

One of my newts is missing a leg.  It's an aggressive species that often fight with each other, so one of it's tank mates will have ripped the leg off.  Fortunately it should grow back.

Didn't know that. Will the regenerated leg look normal?

 I hate that too!  That was one thing I had to adjust to after the upgrade here.
