Easter is coming up, which means chocolate! I won't be eating it, nor will I be eating diabetic chocolate which is gross.

The time I tried sugar free chocolates, I thought it was good but it gave me gas, like tons of embarrassingly foul gas.  My momma said it because they use sugar alcohols. She said diabetics have to be careful about some so-called sugar free products because too much sugar alcohol can be just as bad as sugar.   

Wow, that's two good reasons not to eat it!

Alcohol is something that is very bad for diabetics who are taking medication because it can lower blood sugar to dangerous levels.

I think sugar alcohol is okay for diabetics in small quantities, but they have to be careful about how much is consumed.

I'm going to do some reading about it because it's not mentioned in the information my doctor gave me. Thanks for enlightening me.

Edit: I just read that despite its name, sugar alcohol doesn't contain alcohol. The name is a bit misleading then, isn't it?

I don't get what's so fascinating about asking someone if they have a significant other. Yes... I know it makes conversation, but I always feel stuck when they put me in the corner and ask me that very question.

I done fucked up. I lodged a form for a client today which I was supposed to lodge ages ago and I got smacked with an $800 late fee.
I think it ended up lodging and old draft I had there that had a really old declaration date on it, hence the fee  .
I'm seriously thinking about paying the fee myself and sweeping it under a rug.

Our cats' GPS trackers aren't lasting very long between charges now. I'd like to get them new trackers as they are now smaller. But they cost more than I can afford.

Forgot to get a prescription for Depo Provera when I was seeing the doctor last. So that means I have to get one from her when I see her next, go across the road to the chemist to get it filled, then go back to the clinic and wait for a nurse to be free to give me the injection. Just a lot of running around that is a pain in the arse (literally).
