Hit a fox or a small wallaby in my car this evening. It smashed in my front right foglight/DRL assembly and split the plastic on the lower fascia.
Not enough damage to claim on insurance though. Why did I think going for a spirited cruise through the back roads would be a good idea?

That does sound like Heaven. And make mine a prosecco. I know it's the in-thing ATM, but I'm totally into it. Add cool original Doritos too. Cheeses must include brie and Boursin garlic & herb spread. Damn, I'm going to have to do all of this soon.

Turns out it is enough damage to claim on insurance. The smash repairer got a quote over the phone for the fog light/DRL part and it's $1800 alone!!

Booked in for a proper claim assessment in Friday.

We have a small, artificial fiber optic tree....suits us just fine.   In my childhood, we had a shiny aluminum one...straight out of a Charlie Brown Christmas........now that I remember, we had 1 big one and 3 smaller ones.  And the big one had a revolving light on the floor that had blue, red, green and yellow.

Oh, and our small green fiber optic tree......has a small plastic skull ring behind the angel on top.     A ring that I won playing ski-ball at an arcade!   <evil grin>  My wife and daughter still don't know it's there!
