Daughter's soccer game ended in a 2-2 tie. Both goals by their opponent were misplays by our goalie. Terrible goals on weak shots right at the goalie that she should've easily handled. The one was a slow roller that went right through her legs. The tying goal was in the final two minutes. My daughter has been the goalie and never would've let them in, but the goalie's dad is the coach and he says my daughter is too small to be goalie at this level. Soooooooo frustrating, because we have finished second 6 straight season, losing to them in the championship 5 of them. We outplay them 80% of the game, so it is frustrating to not get the win. It should've been 2-0. That team has this girl who plays on a travel team and seriously plays like she is in high school, despite being in elementary school. That is why this team is so hard to beat, but once again we had them. Our coaches also don't lock it down in the final minutes and get the girls to sweep it clear and out of bounds if necessary to waste clock. After we took the lead, the other coach smartly took out his probably second best player from goal and moved her up to the front with the select player and sure enough they scored to tie it. We get out-coached and it is frustrating.
