And I can barely make smalltalk when it's in English.  :P Yeah I have language processing issues. At least I can read better French than I speak.

I can do the cashier thing though I am lazy and respond in English. But I have loved languages since I was a child. I took Spanish in high school and minored in it in college. There was a requirement that you had to do a second language so I chose German. After listening to enough anime I decided I should learn Japanese and had gotten to the point of being able to read some simple kanji, but I put that on hold for French. Since the roots are the same as Spanish, now  I can read basic stuff pretty well and speak a little with a horrible accent.

In Dutch we do not use am and pm. I use it here, and somehow was annoyed enough to put both 19:00 and pm together.

Three of the four slide bolts were seized on my son's front calipers turning a simple 30 minute brake job into a 4.5 hour one.

And telling time, I can't.

First time I really fucked up with the change of the clock. I had changed all clocks, or so I thought. I left one out. My alarm.
So, dragged myself out of bed this morning 15 minutes late, woke kid, went downstairs, saw the time, and told kid she could stay in bed another 45 minutes.

Decided not to go back to bed myself. So, bit after 5 am, I was folding my laundry.
