Should have walked those extra miles last Thursday, to get my blood drawn as the GP advised. Now I will either have to go to the city again, or wait till next Thursday, when a vampire team visits the village. Probably will do the latter. Saves me both money and time. Losing two hours to deliver a few vials of blood, or just 15 minutes. And those 15 minutes maybe seeing 6 people, or way more by going to the hospital lab. Choice has been made.

Yet another notice from the water co. that our area water has exceeded the healthy limitations for chemicals again.

They are holding a meeting for "concerned citizens" in the upcoming month.

What chemicals? I worked in a town that had unhealthy levels of uranium in the water and the town was giving out bottled water to drink until they could fix it not sure if they were going to filter it or hook up to a neighboring towns supply

Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs). Basically chemicals that form as a byproduct of the chlorination process. They are chlorinating the hell out of the river water now that the fracking is going in full force here and the DEP came down on their ass last year...they have exceeded the limits just about every month for the last year+.

DEP stepped in early last year and rolled some heads because they were not keeping proper records and hadn't been for some time.

Yummy :zombiefuck:  You should get a whole house filter or at least one for what you drink. The tap water in my town is pretty good as is but we filter most of what we drink though the filter on the refrigerator which has a handy feature of a light that comes on when its time to change it.

A cold is trying to overtake me. Sinuses and ears nearly blocked. Now and then I get a 'teaser' of them being blocked for a few minutes. Then they pop open again.

just had two weeks off work. first was spent on holiday, but this past week i've done pretty much fuck all - hence why i'm reacquainting myself with this place and twitter :P

i really wish i hadn't wasted my week, but it's so hard to resist the temptation to lounge around in bed all day when you can
