Knee pain

From the crawling?

I hope you feel better...maybe you can massage it with oils. Not sure which oils though...
Can't you guys even just imagine it?

Forget practicality, or your experience....can you just....imagine?

It's there. It always was.

"From next month on I can get a fixed day to meet you, what days would be fine for you?"

"I can make changes, in my week schedule. Anything but a Mondaymorning will be fine."

"In two weeks I will let you know what options there are."

 ... two weeks later ...

"I can get a fixed day for you, on a Mondaymorning, other days are impossible, because I wanted to give in to the preferences of my colleagues. There is no other option but this."

"Thank you for understanding that Mondaymorning is the worst possible option for me"

"Yes, but I really wanted to please my colleagues."

Well...SO's car is officially broken in...looks as beat up as his other one now.

First week someone pulled out in front of him and missed him by just inches...then a guy backed into his front passenger door with a uhaul, pulled forward and then backed into the rear passenger door...3 days later he came so close to hitting a deer it actually shit on the hood when he tapped it...now a week later he hit a deer, dimpled the driver's side fender, cracked the grill and busted a headlight.

Looks just about right now. :P

Yes...there is a reason I don't let him drive my truck.

Expect the forecast predictions to become less and less reliable as climate change advances.  :nerdy:

Drunk rich (mainly, or all white) people walking around downtown in santa suits and j-walking at very inconvenient junctions. At these events us lowly class folk stay as far away from the upperclass belligerence as possible. we cannot have our reputations tarnished by their lack of sensibility.  :M

It's seriously a wonder nobody died. (welcome to the home sweet home of speaker John Boehner).

You know the other day this rich couple got on the shuttle thinking they would catch a ride-- (around game time we get a lot of such folks on the shuttles who have no idea how to ride one because they don't ever ride public transportation). They move about like privileged folks usually do- as if they own everything and everyone. On top of that, they act as if the drivers ought to earn a tip from them which they don't ever give nor are obliged to, and in the process can be very loud about what they do not find convenient (such as dinging the bell when they want to get off, as opposed to the bus driver magically knowing exactly where to escort them; or reading the sign on the bus that says where it is going). They also hold up lines, and are usually drunk. Anyways, this couple gets on and the man only has one dollar to pay for himself, and the lady doesn't have the money...so they shrug their shoulders and sit down without saying a word. I thought "mofos just stole a ride!" Blegh...I really wanted to offer them a dollar and say, "Do you guys need help with bus fare? Here you go." It would've turned the tables on 'em a bit...

*grumble*

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

Would've enjoyed it if you were there.

I see this more now because I pass through downtown often...and in my city, downtown streets are pretty much traversed by lower class all day long, with the exception of a few foot routes between businesses. The business folk know the deal. But every once in awhile there is a city event, and suddenly the streets are covered with the suburbian entitled, overly pompous, rich, belligerent crowds who trash the streets, hold up traffic, and somehow manage to buy the protection of the police against the rest of us who walks these streets daily. I don't thank them when -after relocating all the bus stops to one, two, sometimes five blocks away- they then use the bus station as their personal garbage bins and toilets. For those days out of the year they kindly come around just to remind us who "owns" the city-- which after all, is obviously not the people who live in it. No...the real owners of this city don't even live here.
