Someone making changes all the time, affecting my daughter and me. Postponing things time and time again.

Ugh, had it not been something my girl had really been looking forward to, I would have told the mother of that friend of hers to stuff it.

In stead of girl seeing friend begin afternoon, she was in the end welcome past 6 pm.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Too many words. Accompanied by lip smacking.

I *hate* lip smacking.

Not the only one.

And one of the fingers of my left hand has been forcibly curled, thanks to some scarring thats left the back of my hand looking like a fucking burns victim (well the palm side IS, courtesy of the ever-friendly and willing to babysit young kids, HClO4, but the scarring that I got left with after an encounter with perchloric acid in my youth, as well as some thionyl chloride, and some liquified sulfur dioxide, although none at the same time as each other. Might have been easier though having to recover only once.)

But now the back of the same hand has scarred, although through no fault of mine, due to an infection, that I think I must have picked up from a blackberry thorn or something similar after my last long-haul mushroom gathering hike (although I did at least get a big harvest of the scarce, and much-prized, crunchy and exquisitely tasty saffron milk-caps from the pine/mixed forest I was at :) )
Beyond the pale. Way, way beyond the pale.

No, not the only one, I'm afraid. Think the ridiculous warm and humid weather we had in July triggered it with me. Since that time I'm experiencing constant pain in both my elbows, wrists and my right hip (if that's RA related, I don't know). Knees also.

Hope now that the warm weather has left this region for this year this buggering nuisance will go and..

Haven't had this aching of my joints as intensely as this year.   :finger:

Bad valves on tanks of foam let out all the pressure before they were empty wasting about $200 worth of product

People-fried. It's been building up for a while and it's getting to me tonight.

Sounds like arthritis of some kind. My sympathies.

Having pretty much the same problems. Add joint pain in fingers and toes for good measure, though.

^ Thanks. For you too (my sympathies).

Bought myself Glucosamine last week and have taken one (big) pill per day since then. It's been said the supplement could help with RA related buggeries. I cannot say it works now (too short a span of time, I think, I've been taken it) but do hope it does (a little).

Going to read all sort of things (have already done so a little bit) about RA in the coming months and try to learn more and more in order to hopefully find a way (of living/diet) to at least not fasten the process.

When I find something sensible/useful I'll post it somewhere on I².

Good luck to both of you. Hope things improve.

Did the Glucosamine with the fibro (had a hard time swallowing those...so can't say how much they helped)...MSM (yuck), tart cherry...(which only seems to help if you consume a ton of it).

Only thing I've learned for myself is sugar=pain, cutting caffeine didn't really do much but may have helped a little, cutting out dairy helped (but I cannot avoid it totally...because cheese rules  :autism:), more veggies less meat...I go for good cuts of meat when I do eat it.

IQ, when I consume too much sugar my skin goes wonky (ya'll don't want the details) and I notice I get more aggravated and have more aches and pains.  I figure sugar is worth it.

I've read about Glucosamine and will try it myself. As soon as I remember to stop by the health shop.

For now, I've noticed that my allergies seem to aggravate the joint pain. We've been dog-sitting for more than a week, see, and I'm allergic to dogs.
