SO had them do the inspection on his ride while it was in the shop (it was due)...it wouldn't pass emissions.

I missed a doc appointment yesterday, after getting spiked. Was unwittingly dosed with K, or something very, very close to it, and quite a lot of it. Was too disoriented to make it there, and if I had have gone, well...better I didn't. The GP in question is a suspicious, judgemental little paki trash so would have been more trouble than he is worth (obviously not worth very much however )

Yep, just down the road. They did a cold test on it since it was sitting there...if he would have ran it some and took it in it might have squeaked past. Waiting to hear what the total bill comes to...betting around $600+.

I take mine to a different garage...not that it matters...I'm always exempt on the emissions. Don't even come close to putting enough miles on it.

I've got one of those quartz heaters just to take the chill out, house is tiny don't need much really...heat pump is clanging so loud I avoid turning it on if I don't have to.

Outside unit was supposed to die 2+ years ago, think this summer might be the clincher, the noise level has definitely increased.

Mom loved them, she bought 3 of those EdenPure's, 1 for upstairs, 1 for downstairs, and a spare. I think they're overpriced, but they do work well.

What I really want is a wood burning stove, I figure I could cut our heating bill in half at least and it would be good for days like this but we would loose a window and some space in the living room putting it in

Weatherstrip your door and put a door sweep on the bottom it will cut the drafts,noise and smell of smoke down a lot. An added bonus is that it's fairly cheep and easy to do

Couple people have them around here, they are awesome. Overkill for this little house though probably. There's a guy that has one and heats a few trailers with it...they're all chained in to it.
