I love to click on the "more info" buttons when they are available. 

To me, as a photographer, I am intrigued to find that most of the images are composites between two or more telescopes and even if it is just with one lens, often there are multiple images composted with various filters, etc.  While we already KNOW that they do this to produce something that the eye can see, I am intrigued at just how each one is done, whether it is simply visible light with a series of filters or X-ray with filters, infrared, ultraviolet, RF with various filters, etc.

It is NOT photography, like most people think. It is "imaging,"  at its best!

The human eye does not do well in space though.

I grew up not far from a huge radio telescope. That made it obvious that the images you'd see from them were the result of imaging.

Most of the hubble images are recolored though. It makes for pretty pictures, but they're equally beautiful in their natural black and white.

Tried to get my resume online, in the obligatory database.

I did not succeed.

Took me over half an hour to ad two places I worked. Had to change function-names to incorrect ones to get them accepted. Then I wanted to change the job I am looking for. Standard mine is set to the same job this very bureau has declared me not fit to do ever again. Working at the telephone.

I pointed the inconsistency out to them several times, but that did not help.
Their online persona is not getting it either.

If I want, I can get a real human to help me out. I will have to hope for the option of an appointment, and will have to travel 2 hours to get to the place this real human resides.

I thought I'd have alone time today, very much needed. Now both ladies are sick. Everyone is home here too.

I hate my allergies. I'm trying to focus on anything else but the sorry state of my face, and it's not working.

Late last night, my son had an allergy attack, presented eventually as a nose bleed that would NOT go away.

His face was severely puffed up and the lymph nodes in his throat were swollen, BUT his damn nose would NOT stop bleeding.
By the time {my wife, actually saved the evening, having a history of this sort of thing in her distant youth} it was finally stopped, my son had just but passed out with pain.

Fortunately, it was Dr. Martin Luther King day and there was no school. He slept most of the morning.

He seems fine now.
