It's cold and damp and I am too cheep to put the heat back on

I've got one of those quartz heaters just to take the chill out, house is tiny don't need much really...heat pump is clanging so loud I avoid turning it on if I don't have to.

Outside unit was supposed to die 2+ years ago, think this summer might be the clincher, the noise level has definitely increased.

I have a couple of them too and have been debating whether I want to dig them out or not

Mom loved them, she bought 3 of those EdenPure's, 1 for upstairs, 1 for downstairs, and a spare. I think they're overpriced, but they do work well.
What I really want is a wood burning stove, I figure I could cut our heating bill in half at least and it would be good for days like this but we would loose a window and some space in the living room putting it in

I'd love one in the basement. What I'd really like is one of those outdoor ones.

Couple people have them around here, they are awesome. Overkill for this little house though probably. There's a guy that has one and heats a few trailers with it...they're all chained in to it.

I don't think they would let me put one of the outdoor ones in my yard the houses are a bit too close but I have worked on houses with them and the people swear by them

My jaw is sore from the dental appointment.  It's hard to open my mouth wide enough to get food in.  :autism:

I wish I had my own personal historian who would recite to me whatever stories or histories I request. But I don't :/

I hate watching things die. Watched my sister die a few years ago and this morning watched one of our niblets die. They are part feral kittens 10 days old today. I have deluded myself into thinking that they feel better with someone there.

Other than the death of the niblet, not bad for a hard luck guy. not even a katamari's worth of small complaints, but as usual the universe is working on that for me.

Family Systems Theory. It sucks. A lot of people write articles based on Bowen's work on FST but I asked my lecturer about it and we are not supposed to use Bowen's stuff. I have had to delete a few articles because of that.

Looking for anxiety in the parents and FST but can only find anxiety in children. Looks like I am going to have to make up some stuff.

Finger still hurts.

Speaking of hurt fingers, yesterday I cut my pinky finger on a piece of cardboard...it was sliced in a particularly inconvenient spot. Soon thereafter I pierced another finger whilst removing a velcro binder from the old man's stomach. The velcro punctures aren't too bad, but the pinky is slightly infected.

I'm sorry.  :(  It may not be delusional, they may indeed feel better with a caring person there, but still,
