The electricity almost went out two minutes ago  :thumbdn:

We had a few close calls yesterday evening.

Stinkbugs. :GA: :GA:

Went up in the attic to get my tree out, it's full of them, not as bad as the neighbors, but in my hair and on everything I moved... I'm afraid they're going to choke the heatpump.

Going to have to do some pest control. They are like a plague around here.

Eeeeww, they do spread a horrid smell.

My sympathies, IQ, Hope you can get rid of them without wanting to run away from yourself for a week or two because of the scent.

Not what IQ will do either.

Both Caesar and IQ will/would do the sensible thing, have a bath or shower.

A shower is the least of Caesar's problems right now. :zoinks:

Ethylphenidate is a pretty top notch stimulant IMO, unlike methylphenidate/ritalin. But..vasoconstrictive. Which is a fucking nuisance when one wants to shoot it. It seems to be vasoconstrictive enough to make actually registering in a vein difficult after the first 100-150mg or so it gets really, really hard to locate a vein, even when pretty experienced giving/taking IV injections, and knowing where one's own most convenient veins are/the right depth/angle of entry, but the little bastards go and shrink to the point where its almost impossible sometimes, without having a vasodilator of some kind on hand.

Grr fucking fuckers.

Only the second shot, and they seem to have decided to close up shop. Or trying to.
Hopefully the 50mcg of clonidine I put under my tongue a minute or two ago will do the trick.

Hmm..seemed to have helped some. That and switching from 28 gauge points on a 2.5ml detachable rig to a 30g fixed insulin rig (much, much finer tipped-the higher number, the narrower the point. 28 is reasonably comfortable in most circumstances, but 30 to 31g are really, really thin, and if doing an IV or even IM shot of something or other, then they just slide in so easily you would hardly notice. The catch being, the points are SO fine, that if the entire dose isn't dumped in quickly enough after registering, then the blood easily clots in the point, requiring a new syringe)

And the insulin ones are, for ease of measuring insulin units for diabetics of course, long and thin, SO long in fact, that the thin, bendy, pain-in-the-arse plunger is, when fully drawn back as far as possible, actually almost too long to reach with a fingertip to actually depress it.

Maybe type 1 diabetics all get born with really long fingers or something. They will need it if they require a full 1ml of whatever their insulin solution comes as, concentration wise. Of course they don't need to be in a vein, as its given subcut, but still. Pain in the arse for us opiate fans or those who decide to do some stimulants once in a while but still prefer to shoot their products.

I did make a detour to the free needle exchange in town for some more 28s, but it was closed. Must either close early on weekends or not be open at all. Last time I went in there, ended up chatting to the guy who works there and gives out the supplies to clients, an aspie it seems. And got home to find that everything was there I'd asked for EXCEPT the 28g points. Oops...realized he forgot to give me those. I know I asked him for them, but guess we got distracted. Oh well, shit happens and I really Couldn't be bothered going back  to the city center though once I'd got home, ended up a bit of a crap day, as it was the day I got jacked and the filth rolled up right when I was about to...remedy that situation with no small quantity of prejudice. So to speak. Rest of the day was decent aside from that incident, but long, on my feet for ages, cold bugger of a day. By the time it was over the last time I went to mcr. city center, all I felt like doing was lazing around either at the computer or on my bed with a well-packed bong, a rollup, and a steaming mug of something tasty from my specialty tea collection :P

But I got enough of the 1ml pain in the fucking arse rigs to last until I next go to town. More than enough actually, seeing as I need to go on monday anyway to do some food shopping, buy a few new music CDs, and pay the guy at the head shop the couple of quid I owe him for the ethylphenidate I bought today.

Been a bit of a long day today too today. Time to put my feet up and relax methinks.

People stared at me in town. I don't know why. Maybe I look wild with a beard that hasn't been trimmed since September  ::)
