I had to do a moderate amount of walking yesterday, unavoidable. Now my legs and hips are aching like fuck. My knees are fucking killing me at the moment. Soon as it cools off a little in the evening I think I'm going to go out and take the first few pods from my yearly outdoor poppy crop. Theres not enough to floor anyone (yet), but there should be enough, based on last time I went out there to check on them, to ease the damn aching and stabbing pains in my bones and joints. Even my fingers are hurting atm.

  It's hot here too ( temps in the 90s Fahrenheit, with high humidity ), and I work in a kitchen.
  Where I sweat like a pig.  All day.  While having hot flashes.  If I didn't have the air-conditioned
   break room and the walk-in freezer, I'd lose my frickin' mind!  :melt:

Its meant to get even hotter tomorrow and the next day. Thankfully though I'll have enough meds to sleep through it come monday. I HATE hot weather like this.

Not as bad as the time I went on holiday to turkey though...fuck me sideways with a rusty fork, I didn't even want to move for much of that time. Was very glad to be able to bugger off to the forests, away from the touristy, shade-free areas. Even if they did come with some seriously fucking vicious tropical nettles of some kind...yowch..those things made blundering into a wasp nest look like fun. And the ants...those things were bloody scary looking, 2cm or so long, big sodding black buggers with huge jaws, looked almost like african driver ants, in build and shape. Bet they had a nasty sting too. Although thankfully I never found that out.
