Charlotte - your washing machine should have a year's warranty that you don't have to pay for.

My ex boyfriend clogged my newish washing machine by washing a fluffy blanket. It was almost a year old and I thought I'd have to pay for the repair but I didn't. One year's warranty. I think it's mandatory in Australia.
