Plumbing pipe TEE broke this week under the bathroom floor.
We had no clue until the carpet began to get wet. Of course my wife blamed a spot of wetness on the cat and cleaned half a hole in the carpet.
Then I found a wet spot and blamed my son who had just showered for over an hour and reamed him an additional orifice. He tried to make it go away.

The leak progressively got worse and worse and this morning it had seeped into a two foot square of the carpet. So the cat could not have pee'd that much and my sloppy son could not possibly have been that sloppy, so WTF!

A leak under the floor has soaked the floor and seeped into the wood enough to destroy the flooring.
The leak is fixed.
I now need a contractor to replace my bathroom floor.

In so far as I despise plumbing work, I am quite capable, except for the old complaining body parts. I just push through and suffer later, but there is no way I can think in terms of ripping out the bathroom floor and replacing it in any amount of time that could be seen as reasonable. I could eventually get it done.
I have to do this now, but I need to hire it done. 
Kind of wish Parts lived close by. I am sure he has a network of folk who could work with my needs. I need to do this work, now.

But now I do not have to do this kind of work myself just to save money. I am saving myself by hiring a third party.

Now just need to find someone reliable.

When we were staying in a long-term hotel after the fire I went into The PR's hallway to her bathroom.  Yelled at her for splashing so much.  Went to wipe up the bathroom and it's dry.  But the wall between the two was damp all the way up.  Turns out some foreign tourists had requested some special accomodations and had flooded their bathroom - 2 floors up.

The partners wouldn't let me go work in the other office today.

The bulk of work I have on at the moment is FROM the other office anyway. So does it really matter which office I'm doing it in??
Their concern is that it's not feasible to work on the stuff from there since the boss guy over there doesn't invoice enough to the client once it's finished.
I don't understand, are they saying we have to ignore the huge backlog over there since it's not worth working on? Tell that to the clients who dropped in the work in good faith!

I was in a blue mood yesterday.  Stopped to pick up a cherry pie to cheer me up.  When I got home I realized it was a blueberry pie.

A front tooth fell out. Well, 2 from the very front, on top, but I still look like a complete bogan (redneck).

I hate dentists, but gonna have to see one I guess.

It does not get any better. I have had two lower front incisors get loose and eventually fallout in the past three years.

One of them fell out while I was brushing my teeth.
 

I have found that our "insurance" covers dental implants. I am thinking in that direction.

They have all these commercials about how you will get your smile back and shit.

I have probably smiled about five times in my life big enough to show any of my teeth. I have let go and laughed about a hundred times and possibly someone saw my teeth. Not sure how any of that related to whether or not I have lower incisors. But that is their commercial. I just want to be able to bite a sandwich, again without cutting it into strips.

Mom= good gums, and bad teeth
Dad= bad gums and good teeth

Sister=bad gums and bad teeth
Me= good gums and good teeth (after I saw a dentist who filled some questionable "cavities".  I never had another cavity after him.)

My mum has dentures on the top after an accident with a thrown ball bearing as a teenager. But she has all her bottom teeth. My dad has all his teeth and they're fine. Both of my parents are in their 70s. I'm hoping my teeth last like theirs have.
