Nope.  Even if I would like lemon flavoured water, the price of lemons has been about $1 each for the past year or so.  Just doesn't seem worth it.  (And yes I know I can freeze the unused lemon, but I'd never find it in the freezer.)

Lemons are best served in lemon meringue pie.

Lemons are only about 35p each here - if you're an Aussie, that means they cost a third more there.

Born in New Orleans, lived there until I was 3 1/2, then spent 10 years in exile in Houston Texas.  I've been back in the New Orleans area since then.  BUT I love English history, English female monarchs (didn't say English Queens, you guys would have punned it), the English country, etc.

What do you think about William and Mary as a ruler after the defeat of James II?  Do you know the origins of the English breakfast, and that it was largely from the Edwardian period?

Interesting that you refer them as "a ruler."  Mary wasn't the best female ruler.  William should have gone back to Orange after Mary's death since Anne was techincally before him in the line of succession.

Edward was responsible for a lot of things and no I didn't know that b'fast was an Edwardian thing.  I usually have oatmeal (with peanut butter) or grits or scrambled eggs and toast (which the PR makes for me.)

The origins of the English breakfast lay in the 13th century.  It was the Edwardians that popularised it and made it a real part of British and Irish culture.
