On the topic of offices. I'm kinda in trouble with my boss for a few large chips in the laminate on the edges of my work desk. I told him they're from running into the desk with the back of my chair (it's a swivel chair, sometimes I don't wheel myself back far enough before turning around to face people behind me and the back of the chair ends up ramming the edge of the desk). I've been putting sticky tape over the chips so that my chair couldn't cause anymore further damage. He thinks the chips came to be due to my stimming/fidgeting. And sticky tape on things is a stim of mine too, so he put two and two together and thinks I've deliberately caused damage to the desk. I've even got the few years worth of scuff marks on my chair to prove him wrong! Nobody else in the office has chips in their desk though.
Any bet I'll get in trouble for the dirty scuffed wall underneath my desk too one day (scuffs from my shoes cause there's not enough leg room, but again nobody else in the office has dirty scuffed walls under their desk, it's just me, maybe my legs are really long).
In other news my lounge has now cost me over $2600 including delivery
. I'm regretting the purchase right about now.
