Three days my girl was in school last week, after over two weeks of being ill. Now her temperature has risen again.
Is it the flu, or something else?
Tomorrow we get the results back for the Epstein Barr testing. She has been sleeping an awful lot. But, the first two weeks she had no sign of fever. Did have the swollen glands though. Her getting a raised temperature now is not something I like. She is more tired again too.
Test results, general blood condition is good, no lack of iron, no inflammations.
Epstein Barr shows that she has had that, and that long ago that there are no active anti-bodies anymore.
Advise: "give it another few weeks, return if things haven't improved by then"
You may have already thought of this, but could she have developed some kind of food allergy?
Thanks, hadn't crossed my mind with her.
Have had all that checked out with the youngest a few years ago. Outcome, no allergies, "just" highly sensitive, and overreacting with bowel problems and eczema on whatever is at hand at that very moment. So, she overreacts on products that are no problem at all the week after that, and the other way around.
I'll keep a closer eye on how my girl is, in relation to what she eats.
