Thinking 'mm...having a pretty good time on the AMT, come up fully, 50mg per os, and a further 20 intranasally a few hours in. Tripping pretty hard, although theres a fair bit of jaw clenching, I really need some gum. Pretty speedy, but not unexpected from AMT, being the indole analog of amphetamine. I've had it before a fair few times, its a firm ally of mine, helped me reach some contemplative states that I could work on, and more or less rid myself of my PTSD in, whilst going on long, solo hikes in the woods to pick wild mushrooms. A pot of opium poppy pod tea helped smoothe things out though, I think I'll have a cup of lemon balm tea too (a mild, but effective relaxant....and as tasty as pod tea is disgusting.
Seriously.....it makes me gag every time. Only way I can get it down me (inside, as opposed to poured down self on the outside
) is to hold my nose, supersaturate the tea with sugar whilst hot, and then neck it in one big, stomach-churningly hideous gulp, then chase it down with soda, lots and lots of it, and then fill my mouth with mints after, to chase away that hideous smell and taste.
Theres nothing quite like it, and it really is atrocious tasting, the smell, though is what gets me, thats the worst thing about it. Its like a suckerpunch in the guts. Had to move the empty pot, as it was making me nauseous just sitting on my computer desk. Going to stick it in the lab with the window open for now.
Ohh...that reminds me...I clean fucking forgot about my iodine monochloride experiment, I feel like getting something interesting and productive done today. Just need to find some thin tubing that isn't ripped a bucketfull of new arseholes by chlorine gas. Its really, really really aggressive stuff to rubber or latex tubing, turns it cloudy and perishes it very quickly. Although I only need it to survive a few transfers from a large capacity syringe into the vial containing the iodine.
