I like to grill my bacon. It helps drive off a lot of the excess fat.
Although I'll fry it sometimes, when I have fried bacon, its almost exclusively to go with whatever I found on one of my mushroom hunting forays.
Too late in the season now...but that made me think that I could absolutely murder a big plate of fried parasol mushrooms (Macrolepiota procera...just about one of the top very few most delectable wild mushrooms to be had of any I have ever tried...and since I've been foraging for mushrooms since I was about 5-6 yo, I've tried a fair few different kinds to say the least. ) and fried bacon
