I am thinking about my bum.  It was felt, quite recently, and a comment was made about me still being young.  After further questioning i discovered that women of a certain age eventually get a saggy one.   :o   So, despite being assured i still have a pert bottom, i am facing impending saggyness.   :(

Not a nice thought.  I have found myself no longer simply sitting down, but instead i 'perch' on the chair typing this in a vain attempt at preserving pertness.  ::)

Gain weight!  A truly fat ass :cbc: will be too spherical to sag!

How come you aren't sleeping well lately miss K ?

Stress from dealing with that faggot ex?

You could always try some valerian root, miss K. A gentle relaxant, capsules are available in holland&barrett, and probably cheaper online. Smells awful, but its not too heavy duty, like benzos might be (although it might be worth considering asking your doc for a weeks course of a benzo, that much sleep deprivation isn't good for you)

It does work though, at least for a lot of people (I'd likely not notice it myself, being on chlormethiazole)

Hope you feel better soon *squeezes*

I'm thinking that I am REALLY not looking forward to winter. We have had some really harsh ones the last 2-3 years, I think it was the one before last, that was one of the coldest on record for quite a long time.

2009-2010 and 2010-2011 we had enormous amounts of snow. In January 2010 it was two meters in some places  :thumbdn:

Last years winter was a disappointment. I love a good blizzard and we didn't get any.  :thumbdn:

Lack of sleep is due to anxiety. It goes in waves so I know it will pass. I've used Melatonin in the past and it's worked well but it's not helping right now.

I very rarely take anything unless I absolutely have to. I don't feel desperate enough to get meds from my doctor just yet. She's offered them to me before but I've always declined. I'll ride it out and see how it goes.

Valerian works in a similar way to rx sedative/antianxiety drugs, although at a different binding site on the GABAa receptor complex, but its no knockout or heavy duty stuff, pretty gentle, and I don't see it being addictive.

Another option is lemon balm tea, chamomile tea again is another (although I don't like chamomile tea myself, I don't like the taste. The balm on the other hand, is delicious,. sweetened with honey. You can probably buy it online dried, although fresh is best of all.

I'd grab some seeds too, it is REALLY easy to grow. One of the mint family, they grow fast, my tiny plants I'd begged from the daughter of somebody who planted a public herb garden took off like a rocket, now several feet tall, big busy things.

It isn't really a sedative, but good for soothing frazzled nerves, and has a relaxing effect. Chamomile tea especially is even ok for kids.

Hope some of this helps you miss K.
