There's a pheasant sat outside my front fucking door. This is a massive housing estate in the middle of the town, how the fuck did it travel all those miles to this shit hole and not get killed on the roads?

 In my city, back in the late 90s, we had a wild turkey hanging around one of the busiest intersections for months,
 eating cereal and corn which people should NOT have been throwing to her, until the poor thing finally got hit by a  car.

Makes you wonder how these things get there. I can't see it any more, I saw it on the road a minute ago so I'm guessing the recycling truck that just drove by dealt with it. 
Someone should have taken the turkey for eating, I'm surprised they didn't. God, I love turkey. If I brought the pheasant into my house my dog would maul it. I wonder what it tastes like.

Exactly.  My favorite dish is called Pheasant under Glass.  You bake it in seasoned rice.  Delish.  Just have to be sure to pick out all the birdshot first.
