While waiting for glue to dry at times, I've been toying with some perfunctory wood carving using my simple power tools. Grinder, Dremel, jigsaw, adapted hand held blades, etc. I've carved a bird, bunny and a deer.
My wife collects Nutcrackers and has many!

I mentioned one day that she has Bakers, Blacksmiths, Drummers, Cowboys, Heralders, Fishermen, Soldiers of all manner, French, English, Viking, German, Samarai, Celt, etc, but nothing even resembling African.

As I said, "toying" with the idea that if I do not have to make it fully functional as a nutcracker (many of hers are not functional, just decorative) I can probably carve one out and with her help we can decorate it to resemble a Mandinka or Zulu warrior. I even think a masked "mudman" look might be kind of cool.

The form will not be hard at all to carve out, but the detailed decoration will make or break the project.

I've been researching African ceremonial dress and war ready accoutrement's of the many cultures I can find. Choosing ONE will be difficult.

It might be a fun project, but open a can of worms I did for sure!

I'm wanting to go on a trip, a trip far away from my house... and with this trip, I would hide off the grid in the Kalahari looking up at the sky.

There should be a way to change the scrolling speed.

I thought that's in the mouse settings.  :dunno:

Why do people forward their stupid meetings to me when they can see I'm busy already?

I have grown quite a bit since I first started posting here. I have also developed quite a few health conditions along the way as well.

I'm wondering why the tiny packet of conditioner that comes with hair color is such better quality than other conditioners.  :orly:

They can't afford to make larger ones.

I think I'd be willing to pay an outrageous amount for a whole bottle of that stuff. I only need a tiny amount so it would probably last a long time.  :dunno:

Probably. There's no profit in a cure, or something like that. I read some people don't use them, and then sell them on eBay. I might buy some there.  :orly:

The fireworks are a bit over the top. Not looking forward to the ones at 12am. I can't warn the cats either, so they're going to freak out all over again.
