I was watching the football, but for a moment I thought....

Can you imagine if you were a Nigerian Prince and you needed to move millions of dollars out of the country so you could flee persecution and death, but the only way you could communicate with the outside world was anonymously via email.

How would you convince someone that this time it was real?

I went out for a journey with Dad... came back and Mom found the old iPad.... now I just need to factory reset because I forgot the passcode on it. Dad is going to go to a guy who knows how to fix the screen. So of course Dad can use the one that gets fixed.

God I hope I have a sale tomorrow....

As for the....[something] damage (not termites IMO) in the shared wall with next door, well, I'm not sure how to proceed with that. The neighbour wants it inspected further and potentially repaired but if I exchange tomorrow and the wall isn't completely fixed before settlement in 6 weeks I'm screwed.
If I exchange tomorrow I may be mass blocking the numbers and email addresses of a lot of people to avoid dealing with it until it's not my unit anymore  :P
(don't worry the potential buyer knows the damage is there, they have the building report)

In retrospect, committing an act of goodwill by asking the neighbour to check their side of the wall for damage was the WRONG thing to do, cause now they know it's there, and now they want it fixed. And now they say they want to move out in a few weeks and get everything in their unit painted and patched up.

If this complex supposedly has a termite reticulation system installed then where is it? The only evidence I can find of its existence is the faded service sticker in the meter box. I've certainly never come across any buried mystery hoses in the garden.
