I went out dancing last night and I realized that one of the reasons I love dancing so much, beyond music being one of my obsessions, is that when I'm dancing is when I feel most free and there's no feeling of trauma that I battle in my day to day life. It's like pressing the reset button.

I actually haven't gotten much good feedback there, or really gotten noticed at all. Too many wannabe artistic types, substantive critique is a valued commodity and getting it requires too much networking and very frequent participation in their communities.

I really think a site like this where people know you and are happy to have a conversation is a better bet. If you have a thick enough skin to take bullshit too.

My supervisor at the op shop confided in me about her PTSD. I kind of feel honoured because I like and have a lot of respect for her. She is a very nice person indeed.

That shows a lot of trust! And I feel badly for her because PTSD is wickedly hard to deal with.
