But I'm kinda glad that we don't have these cuties raiding the rubbish bins.

Actually, if you get the pot boiling and I catch it?  We will need some garlic, a couple of handfuls of salt in the pot and good deal of drawn butter at service. Maybe some fried potatoes and a vegetable?

It looks scary at first, but it also looks like a meal for four with a bit of ball work.

There was a guy spray painting the roof across the road this afternoon. And my next door neighbour happens to park his stupid car on their property (whether it's with permission I dont know...I assume not). I hope his car is covered in white specks :hahaha:
:D
Is this the guy that throws up every night?
No he actually died about 2 years ago, and he lived across the driveway from me, not next door.
This guy is one of the young guys living next door.
I guess the way you described it was quite memorable. He must have died from the illness he had. Wasn't very healthy.

Have you got a garage for your car? I don't but I have a covered car port which I'm happy about because it's out of the weather and not visible from the road.

I know these are two distinctly (See, even MORE!) different words and the meanings and implications of each one are very stone cold distinctive (Right! another adjective relating to the first use as an adverb) and quite particular to the usage to me, but it seems as if there has been a movement lately to make words interchangeable by removing the importance of the differences of words' meanings.

What do these words mean to you?

For the first, most basic understanding, following with my very limited education (I am a high school drop out, remember) One is an adverb and the other is an adjective, so having both words is a necessity just to maintain a kind of language we have all agreed upon in an attempt to communicate with one another without rocks tied to the end of sticks for use as a period, for instance.

We NEED both words!

Stupid dog - humans need to stop snoring in the middle of the night.

My Grandfather used to call that a "lying dog" and he hated to hear a dog lie.
He always kept eight or ten dogs on his farm as an alarm system but one barking at nothing was a liar and they only had a few chances.

His hogs were a great deal more reliable to be witnesses to danger, but he kept them as far away from the house as possible. His dogs had free reign as long as they did not raid the chicken houses. Those dogs never got a second chance.

My dog is very vociferous as well, but you can definitely tell when he makes a warning bark. He has many barks if you listen to him. Most of his barks are conversational or tattling or playful.
His warning bark is definitely easy to understand.

My grandfather did not care about trying to learn to speak dog.

People walking past the house. A train passing, maybe. Threats, if she is to be believed.

There should be a raccoon appreciation day as well, not just one for squirrels.

We have trouble with an overpopulation of raccoons here. Squirrels and bunnies as well.

The city has gone on a rampage trying to clear out wild or feral cats from the residential areas. Now we have an overage of what they used to eat.
I love to see all these animals all over the town so I do not just shoot them, but I do NOT like them in my garage or dumping my garbage in the alley.

I have heard that raccoons are good to eat, but never tried it. I know rabbits and squirrels are delicious.

On another point, similar, I see more of the native kestrels and tiny immature hawks gorging on the rabbits and squirrels. Unfortunately, those raptor kin are also ravaging the mourning doves and cardinals as well.

I can not think of a balanced solution. The whole thing makes my mind sweat.
It would be wise if they did trap/neuter/return for the ferals. When you do a neuter/spay the colony will naturally die out on its own without such a jarring upset in the balance of the food chain, and it also won't keep growing at a rapid pace.

Currently thinking that I wish I could get a decent amount of sleep.
