I do not think I mentioned that my son got his first job this week.

It has been a struggle for him to find work. I finally convinced him to trim his hair (from the middle of his back - think Braveheart - to just about the shoulders so he does not look so much like a potential lawsuit waiting to be hired) and his second interview he was hired.

He works full time at a car wash, so very seasonal, but any start is a good thing in my book.

He is getting more social and people exposure than he has all year!

I found this quote in a little book called, "It's always Wine O'clock".  And it's filled with quotes about drinking wine and such.  This one reminded me of a former forum member and his love of claret....and a few others!

I may post other quotes as the humor or spirits move me.

Sounds like a book I should read.

You post a lot in the game threads, short answers that respond to the title rather than the people. Rarely reacting to what others say, so it sometimes seems like posting to the wind rather than saying something to someone, and that's difficult to respond to. Always want to talk to skyblue1 more when he's around, but he does the same with the game threads, and that makes him difficult to engage too. It's just an awkward thing, someone who has trouble joining conversations in the same space as people who have trouble starting conversations. I found another one of your posts and responded to it.
