  Interesting what tiny things the OCD brain will choose to fixate upon and blow out of proportion.  :headhurts:

Tiny and frequently unexpected.

  I'm less upset by it now when it happens, because I know my brain needs that fixation point,
  and will manufacture one if necessary.  So just because I do worry about that little thing, that doesn't
  necessarily mean I should.  I've been dealing with this, off and on, for 20 years as of this very month.  8)

Buying an el cheapo used 4x4 to supplement my current car is tempting. Very tempting.

Yeah, I know how it works. I've had it since I was a teen. It's no fun.

I'd love to, if I knew how. :(

  Mike Ehrmantraut occasionally bought a cheap car to use in one of his ... operations.  :ninja:

You should.

My truck is a bit of a low mileage prima donna so fun is cruising and the occasional load of dirt or mulch, but SO has a little red 4x4 tracker we share. Wheelbase is about the size of a Jeep.

The "tomato" (as it is dubbed) can be a truly radical amount of fun.

Yeah but two lots of registration, two lots of insurance...
Adding a beater car to an existing policy for a new car probably wouldn't be much more, if anything at all.

Registration is the real doozy, they don't care about how many vehicles you have or what they are.

Less coverage needed for the beater.

When it dies, part it out and sell the rest for scrap.

It also attracts a different type of "fanboy" in the parking lots...typically ones that like mud.  >:D

Today I got a text from my brother;
"Today I jumped off NZ's tallest building. photos to follow".

I texted back;
"We care about you Shauny, please call Lifeline before attempting again"

Not really, but my morbid mind put it in that context :zoinks:. He was doing the SkyJump off Auckland Tower.
