Thinking about the film festival.

You're screwed. No way you can escape your BD without the festival.

I want to buy these:

But I can't find anywhere that does them. :-\ At least I know what they are called now. Flakes saltlakrits. I found a huge jar of them in Sweden. That picture is apparently 90g, it doesn't seem like much.

Haven't seen that particular packaging but I had something like it just now.

Mmm, you're lucky. That stuff must be abundant where you live.

andersom, salted liquorice tastes amazing, though it seems to be a love or hate thing for people, like Marmite. You can buy gummy salted liquorice from that Tiger store in the UK, or IKEA, or some German shops. I think it's a Scandinavian thing mainly.

I know what it tastes like, jc, and I love it. I'm Dutch. Salted or double salted liquorice can be bought almost everywhere. It's called "zoute drop" here. But I've never seen in sold as sprinkles.

The hot ones are even better, do you agree? Turkish pebber or something. They did do a gummy version I think, but it wasn't as hot.

Ooh, the hockey puck liquorice powder is really good too. They had a bubblegum flavour too *I think*, and possibly one more flavour.

The Lakrits tablets were good too. The chocolate bar with those liquorice flakes in them was amazing.

I think if I saw those on my ice cream I would feel horribly cheated. They look like delicious dark chocolate flakes. Nope.  :zombiefuck:

Not a fan of licorice flavor either. Am always upset when some bagel places have anise seeds on their everything bagels. Not sure why anyone would think licorice flavor would mesh will with savory things like onion and garlic.
