Thinking about how I used to always say I was contributing to the Ironman Red Carpet Fund whenever I pay my council rates (because the athletes when they're here get treated like royalty and the council spares no expenses accommodating their event, and then event blocks almost every road leading into the CBD inconveniencing thousands of locals).

Turns out there is actually red carpet for them :zombiefuck:
