Seriously, who am I without the hoard? Not that i miss any of the stuff. It's just that, as
writer Barbara Sher has pointed out, a messy home can be the go-to excuse for years of
complacency and inertia. You tell yourself you'll do X, Y and Z, actually get a life
... one day, after I've cleaned out this mess. Then one day, for whatever reason,
you actually do it ... and there's a void left. I've been in a 17-year relationship with
my messy apartment. I don't know what to do with my clear spaces or my free time.
Time to find out what you want. Maybe by looking at texts and pictures and pile what you'd like, love, hate, are indifferent to. And then find out what in the pile of what you love and like you'd like to do.
Start with a small project you'd like to do.
