Speaking of tenants, we have a nice quiet one who has moved into number 2 (we are number 1). Haven't met him properly yet though.

Marion, your neighbours sound... interesting.

All my neighbours are interesting. My next door neighbour who moved in recently is a gay hairdresser and there always seems to be different cars outside. I can't figure out if they're hair clients or Grinder dates

Then there's Mr McSpew in unit 2.

Then there's "Sammy Wammy" and her pampered pooch in unit 3.

Then there's the Charles Manson doppelganger in unit 4.

Then there's the lady in unit 1 with the hikikomori like son who I've only seen 3 times in the four years I've been there (he can drive though).

Quiet guy with a Jack Russell in unit 2 (I have seen the dog poke its head under the gate).

Quiet man and woman in unit 3 - that is until they get their 8 or so grandkids to stay over every school holidays who totally run amok up and down the driveway.

Mother and daughter in unit 4 - they are both old and they are both named Gladys. They call me by a shortened form of my name which is annoying.

There are only 4 units where I live, thankfully. I am sure glad I don't live next door to a Mr McSpew.

Like clockwork at 1-2am he's in his bathroom making gross...vomiting sounds with his bathroom window wide open for all to hear. I never have my window open when I sleep now, to muffle the noise. Which reminds me I need to buy a new pedestal fan, because with the window closed it gets a little stuffy and hot in my room during summer.
