All the pain meds I could stomach, intravenously, on my tolerance without anything bad happening to me, and likewise with antiinflammatories (NSAIDs) by mouth and as topical gel, have done absolutely nothing. I've been using crutches to get about the house today. If it gets any worse, I think I'm going to throw up.

What is the end game here?  What happens once you have built up a tolerance to everything?  Does this story eventually end in an OD?  How do you intend to keep that from happening?

I had one. One and a half, actually, cos the first time went horribly wrong and they had to abort before the actual puncture took place.

The first attempt was the single most painful experience in my entire life. The second was largely painless, just a slight pinch and some discomfort while waiting for the doctor to sample the fluid.

I really hope i never have to have a spinal tap. I would almost opt out to die than rather the doctors try to figure out what was wrong with me

Protip: unless they need to know the pressure of the spinal fluid, insist on doing the procedure sitting up and leaning forward, rather than lying on your side.

Had spinal tap in 1990. I was in so much pain, I didnt feel anything from the spinal tap. I do remember I was laying down

Had spinal tap in 1990. I was in so much pain, I didnt feel anything from the spinal tap. I do remember I was laying down

I had an epidural when I was about to have my daughter and it was the same for me.  I was in so much labor pain that the epidural was nothing compared to it even though I did get a headache from it later.

My cousin lives with us now. He was homeless. He has a tendency to steal. He can't find a place to live right away because he was in prison. My demon aunt called my mom crying because he had nowhere else to go. My demon aunt never disciplined her kids so they walked all over her. She stayed with us back in 2001 rent free and bitched about everything. It was summer and to save my mom money I would have the air conditioner set high with the fans running. Before she moved it I was jhust fine but her son said "its hot" and she would turn up the air conditioner. It was about $1000 more expensive with everything, food etc. Her sons also got their handprints on my mom's white wall and my demon aunt said they were my handprints. She bought a new SUV when staying with us for some reason. Anyway she's a 2 faced liar and gossip.  She would tell me what to do because her kids wouldn't listen to her. If I asked my mom if I could do something and she said yes my demon aunt woulld say I wasn't allowed. I said my mom said I could and she said " well I said no" she also opened the door to my bedroom when I was trying to sleep to stop me from stimming which was wagging my foot. She would grab my foot and stop it fron moving. I locked the door to my room but she used a nail to unlock it and bug me.
