Am I right to assume when I see a full moon the whole world can see a full moon too? (yeah, yeah.. when it turns dark 'there' too and the thing is around/noticeable)

You're not only right, but correct and on the money as well.

You are correct except that the full moon sets for a particular place near sunrise and rises near sunset. From my point of view, the total lunar eclipse happened after the moon had set for me.  I set my alarm for the time it would be nearly total and was disappointed not to see it because it had already set behind the mountains when I woke up.

Ah, you had a total lunar eclipse at your whereabouts recently. Didn't get what you meant reading your post earlier.  :zoinks:

Bummer you've missed it.

A couple of partial ones I've seen, yes, but I'm not sure I ever witnessed a total lunar eclipse. Seen the moon get between the sun and my eyes ones though. That was awesome.. (and a bit of a bizarre experience too).

Sorry, I thought that you were taking about the recent total lunar eclipse which happened early Saturday morning here but I should have realized that it was just a coincidence.  Here's what you and I missed.

Shame, yes.. for she looks very beautiful. On that photograph, but kinda every time I see 'her' in RL as well. Um, think I'm more 'attached' to the moon than I am with our sun. Might be a tadski odd but it's true.

I am definitely more attached to the moon than the sun. I hate hot weather and having the sun in my eyes. I know we need the sun lol, but it does cause me a lot of torment :P
