Don't worry. I have written novellas about my current housing troubles.

Sometimes, we just need to howl at something and hope that someone hears and howls back with a direction to follow to safety.  Often though we are all alone and the direction is up to us to choose.

I see you making headway against a rough current, Genesis. Never give up!

Played Star Trek Adventures: Phasers and Feelings today. I think my lack of imagination is hindering me. I've read that autistics can have a lack of imagination. I've also read that autistics can have very vivid imaginations. So what is the deal? I've not known of anyone having the trouble I have.

If you've met one autistic, you've met one autistic.
You'll never self-actualize the subconscious canopy of stardust with that attitude.

Agreed. Can't recall reading anything about imagination, greater or lacking, as indicative of autism. Probably more that some people are imaginative while others aren't. Jack isn't very imaginative, especially struggling with being presented with hypotheticals.

I have a very vivid, wild, id-driven imagination. There is also a general lack of filter, so my mind will often wander off to VERY dark or sexual places. If I told anyone that bit, they would definitely be freaked out.

Anything I imagine looks very clear to me, with the ability to rotate, change colours etc. I can almost see it as clearly as my actual vision.

That said, I've been told I'm not "creative enough" at my last job, whatever that means. Likely because it bore the everloving shit out of me.

What kind of friendship doesn't allow freedom of thought? Sure blunt honesty is something they can't handle... but the blunt honesty that goes over their stupid heads?

I find blunt honesty refreshing.  I like knowing where I stand and can move on from there.   8)

I miss the old chunky skate shoes of yore. You can still get them for women, just not in any shops around here :(
I'ma order some DC shoes maybe online.

Nothing in particular... it's Friday evening and I'm avoiding anything of importance.

Taken from FB.  Three things I don't like when talking to me:

1.) Don't talk to me like I'm your child.

2.) Don't talk to me like I'm supposed to be scared of you.

3.) And never try to talk to me like I'm stupid.

Coworker I don't have much to do with: Hi I'm giving you my official notice, I'm leaving the end of January. Me and my partner are moving to Perth.

Bosses: How dare you!! After all we've done for you over the years! Please sit while we manipulate you into staying using guilt and shame, and we'll make sure others in the office are disappointed in you too

The bosses mentality just boggles the mind. This is what I will need to mentally prepare for :zombiefuck:
