Quartzsite Arizona overtaken by a Police coup d'etat!!!

Pretty scary people.

A mayor who was elected to root out corruption gets booted out by the corrupt city officials and the corrupt town sherrif is made acting mayor and declares a state of emergency (Martial Law).

The city of Vernon, Ca (part of the LA Metro area) is a good example.

The mayor is paid over $900,000 a year.
 
The L.A. County board of supervisors has been trying to wipe the city off of the map for over a decade now.

They describe the city as "A criminal business racket disguised as a city government".

The YouTube video of the police going after Jennifer Jade Jones and arresting her is shocking.  All she was doing was holding a microphone and talking addressing the council.

The mayor repeatedly told the police they were in violation of his rules of order.

I think it's some of both.  All these people need to be stripped of their offices and they also need to be banned from any sort of public service.  Police who went along need to be fired we don't need any of these "I was just following orders" types around.

I hope this isn't part of a larger trend. A trend where cops realize that they hold the power and can create their own little fifedoms.

So their insubordination is caught on tape.

Hopefully this is just one of many things that comes up at trial.

Another important development in this case, a brave policeman, Sergeant William Ponce, who is the president of the Quartzsite police association, held a vote of no confidence in the police chief.

All of those who voted on the measure, 9 officers, have been placed on leave, leaving only the corrupt cops patrolling the streets of Quartzsite.

WHY HAVEN'T THE STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS STEPPED IN TO STOP THIS CORRUPTION?? ?? ??

There's some nice places in Arizona, Quartzsite isn't necessarily one of them, but still, the idea of a Police coup in America disgusts me.
