In the dark, dark, days before 'teh interwebz'   What did you do?

How did you store info?,  how did  you communicate?  How did you amuse yourself?

I used to live alone without any internet. I used to watch a lot of Star Trek and spend a fair bit of time in my garden as there was nothing but sand when I moved in. I also repainted my whole place except for my bedroom.

I used to listen to CD's or the radio in my room while doing crafty projects. One the nights I wasn't with my then BF that is.

I didn't get internet at my house till about July 2005 and it was dial-up.

Ahh, the days when mail came early. Those were the days.

I even remember life without TV, and I have very vivid memories about the first transistor radio we bought. I was not even 2 years old then. :D

Wasn't too bad, life without the internet.
I can do upside down chocolate moo things!

Libraries and encyclopedias. I devoured them.
I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

How to apologise to Scrap

hmm, I'm not sure EXACTLY when they came out, but we got our first VCR about 1985. And I would say that by 1987 ( at the ripe old age of 6 and a half) I was already well versed in the VCR porn my much older brother had

I would try to remember the EXACT SECOND it was on, so I could rewind and not get caught 8)

Now that I think about it, watching porn at 6 years old ( including tranny and BDSM porn) probably made me the fucked up sex addict I am today.

hmm.

Damn you, VCR

My brother had a VCR in 79 that looked like this one.  It was outrageously expensive and he only had it because someone gave it to him that owed him money and could not pay him

Books, black and white TV, pencils and paper writing, sex, party lines on phones, one phone to a house, telegrams (we actually got one once), sex, seeing a movie only once at the show, cars and houses without air conditioning or central heating, ironing clothes, sex, the first Elvis Presley 45 record, Hi-Fi (pre-stereo), board games, sex..........................
