Because I don't trust alex.  At the first sign of controversy (we don't know exactly how jetson died remember) alex could zap his account like he zapped william freund's.  In that event all his posts would be lost.

Also: who here (other than me) is going to go through every single one of his posts?  If it were all collated in a single thread it would be simpler.

But yes, it is a somewhat nutty idea, I guess.
