I saw something once, in the forests around the Puget Sound.  I don't like to talk about it. :(

Share your pain, and let the healing begin.   :ghugs:

It ..... it touched me.  In a way that even my wife won't do.  It was awful, but sometimes late at night I miss it. (emo)

Don't worry, once your new baby arrives, you'll be too tired at night to miss anything but sleep!

My son has decided for the past week that 4:30 is a great time to get up.  I am already sleep deprived  :sleepy:

kryptozoology gets muddled by airhead idiots.

of course there are animals we havent seen yet

the result is, everyone who hears even a WORD about new animals, think of it as total crazyness.

who was it, on THIS site, who told me large animals cannot inhabit mountains, because theres no air there? on THIS site :b

a BIG CAT is being _Described scientifically AS WE SPEAK, its a BIG... CAT...
black, white belly, "extra large fangs", scientists finally got hold of a pelt and skull, stuffed with dna for them. the amazonians have insisted it exists since forever, we arrogantly laughed at them, like we always do. (description work begun 2 years ago or so. even extinct animals may take upto 5 years between discovery and publication, so.. i'd give this one a few years, before we are presented with a name. Just from what i know, its unlikely it will add to the Panthera genus)

im not saying "bigfoot exists", cus "bigfoot" is a folkloric monster. its like saying "chupacabra exists"

but chupacabra DOES exist, according to national geographic, chupacabra is a small-legged canine. canines exist. my dad has a dog.

"bigfoot" is a primate. primates exist. you and me are primates.

the pity with kryptozoology, as i said before, is that its composed almost entirely of dogmatic nutjobs, who wouldnt know the fuck of a difference between a glowing-eyed giant bat, and a little dog.

SEE!?
had you been in mexico for a week or two, you could have solved that chupacabra-riddle long ago!

/

why dont people know the most elementary things!?
like "its eyes glew in the night!" <---said about chupacabras, lions, tigers, cats, crocodiles, people, ANYTHING with a functioning fucking retina
"did you flash at it with a flashlight?"
"YES how did you know!?"

I have never seen a "compassionate conservative" either, but they keep getting elected in my country.

I have never seen a "compassionate conservative" either, but they keep getting elected in my country.

me and my dad discussed this today, human behaviour + democracy, and he made a pretty good point about how the far-right's ruthlessness always allows them to win.
traditionally, the left is about sharing, rights for everyone - including the capitalist fat cats, their kids get FREE college, they get free hospital,
the right-wingers are ruthless, their methods are ruthless, and ruthlessness always wins, because it pounds and beats down the compassionate much more easily than the other way around.
one example is the right side's tendency to merge their parties, for the purpose of votes and progress,
while the left side remains split up, into specific - but "ideologically true" parties, the reds, the socialists, the greens, etc, which - divided - earns much less voters, "but at least we are consequent!"

"intelligent design" my ass, the human psyche and behavioural patterns are a glaring example of the opposite :D
