OMG they are like something from a horror film
I wouldn't mess with one

Apologies thats just me on a bad day.  :-[

A furry squid?

Now I am scared indeed. :hide:

I can't help but imagine the dropbear singing opera every time I look at it's expression.
It's highly inappropriate given their nature but it keeps popping into my head

Btw , is that a real image of an attack or is it completely faked? :hide:

Real of course.

And it is only because of their size that they haven't been able to spread to the rest of the world.

A venomous spider can hide between some fruits, a dropbear just can't.

Yikes  :o

Those things do look like they are from a horror movie.
I'll just diagnose myself as Goddess of the Universe and have done with it. Hell with autism!  :green: :zoinks:

nice is just something written on biscuits.

Poor bastard was probably pissed and there is no jars of vegiemite in the picture. He did not have any jacket or anything to offer neck protection either. Just fucked up all round poor bloke.

I dunno whether the pic is real but it looks like others I have seen. Serves as a pretty good reminder. You don't get any warning and if you feel the impact you have to act quick to get the bastard off.

I guess it is the same as the drop and roll in a fire. People can just freeze up despite the fact that acting quickly and sensibly could save them. Pretty sad.

They try and eat people alive?

Call me a cynic but I don't think they're doing it right.  :orly:

No they are small and they are carnivorous but they will not consume a person. They will drop on a person bite into the next and the person will if unlucky die usually from the dropbear hitting an artery and quickly bleeding out. it will chew on the neck and cheeks and nose, ears and such but will not devour a human whole. They are not that big. They do more damage to smaller animals but smaller animals ironically are more alert and harder targets and often fight off dropbears better.

I was under a lot of trees today. Glad that I know now not to be so careless here in Australia.

Oh right. Sorry. In that case then. Yes.

By the time you are dropped to the floor you will likely have bled out (Jugular and such arteries in the neck area once ruptured bleed you out quickly) and not be alive anyway when then chew on you.

Do you often need to defend yourself against those in California?  :zombiefuck:

We've got the Bullebak. He is so awful that there are not even reliable pictures of him. Very scary. It ate a few of my great aunts, when they were really little.
