I'm not dead.

I just spent about a month building four dual 18" folded horn, sixth order band pass subwoofer systems for a local band.
Things take me longer these days. I am a little slower than a few years ago when I could pop these out in a couple of weeks.

These are some of my best ever sound reinforcement bass enclosures and these will knock everyones dicks in the dirt for a hundred feet and disrupt digestion for blocks!
You WILL have a headache, ear ache with ringing, throwing up, trouble with seeing clearly and short term dementia if you stand too near with these pumping close to full power! 
3KW on each box and there will be no prisoners left to take.
Rock and fucking roll!!

I am supposed to be retired, but I still do what I do, Damn It ALL!

I'd have you build one for the cinema if you lived closer to here. :)

As for sound equipment in general, I've been considering an upgrade to the Jag. It is a fact that Jags have shit sound systems, and it's especially true with the old ones. This one is old enough to be awful, but it is also a classic so the old (shit) stereo stays right where it is. It's just going to sit there and I'll probably kill it. I'm replacing speakers, wires, all of it, and I'm adding a headless system somewhere in the back.

Thank you! We're doing well, he just started kindergarten this fall. Now everything is "poopy butt face" and "who peed in my pants???" and whatever other nonsense the kids say to each other.

I kinda got restless and got out of the habit of coming here, but it's good to see people.
