Not been around too much lately. Gopher Gary - the hurricane was awesome. The eye wall passed over our house. It did go intensely still for about 5 minutes. Then the wind quickly built up again. About 6 feet of wooden fence and a large tree in a pot knocked down were the wind damages. We were without electricity for about 2 days. Lots of tree trimming afterwards all around the parish and straightening even minor electric pole leans.
Glad to know Lady Weeble and I pop up on the same day.
In other news
Martha, our cat is indoors for the winter. She enjoys sleeping with me.
The Princess Royal (The PR) continues to have her ups and downs. I think they may be partly traced to Seasonally Affective Disorder (SAD). We're trying natural supplements since the only prescription drug can't be given to people with seizure disorders. She got a heavier bowling ball and is quite pleased with it.
I'm blessed that I don't work and she isn't in school, so we can pick which activities/outings we feel are safe.
