Harold Camping says the world will now end on Oct. 21. Is it just me or is this mf cuckoo? Sounds like a typical Jesus-freak IMO.

Just thought I would pass this along. Discuss.

This is his third date.  The first two meant nothing to me.  Can't see anything to discuss about the latest one.

Hm, I only thought this was the second one. What was the date before May 21?

William Miller did the same thing back in the 1840's

I totally believe this new prediction!  I'm going to be raptured and go live with the angels!  I can't wait!   :snowman:

Third times the charm? :orly:
Existence actually has two broad meanings despite its apparent meaningless. The constant reconciliation of all its parts, and the conservation of any closed system as a whole.

Morality can be extrapolated from these meanings to make these two commandments of godless morality: 1). Be in harmony with one another and 2). Care for the environment.

Yeah, but they are the same suckers that listened to him back when. People like that rarely learn.

Well this date has more validity as a point where humanity may be fucked. I say that because that's probably the amount of time it'll take for the radiation from Fukushima to significantly contaminate most of Japan and parts of the northern hemisphere. Unfortunately for them, it's not exactly rapture to heaven kind of ending, but rather a slow death from leukaemia, thyroid cancer and/or infections via destroyed immune system. :zoinks:

And then once humanity is gone, god shall say, "I did it for the lulz"
