I've never been "homophobic".  For one, you shouldn't put someone's political views as a phobia or mental illness, that's just a cop out.  I don't have an irrational fear of homosexuals.  I have actually got on well with homosexuals generally, and especially men funnily enough, because like me they have a sick sense of humor, because at the end of the day they're just men    I did tell the guy who's one of our tennis gang that i'm against gay marriage, and he said "what, do you think you're better than me?" and at tennis I am!  But not as person just based on sexuality.  I've met people who really are homophobic.
