The only thing that gripes me these days is that the mods feel free to go into a post and change things, without permission or explanation.

mainly genesis. Pika does also, but at least he says why. Never see Zodrau.
Yeah, I do edit posts but only where appropriate; in some cases permission is irrelevant. Usually I'll prefer to just remove a post, rather than edit - if it's edited, I could have changed what was in it competely. Hidden, there's a record and a log.
And of course, as you say, whenever I do edit a post I leave a note and if further explanation is needed I'll post. If I remove something, I post and leave a notice that I've removed it (unless it's spam, in which case whatever). I have an annotation key for a reason.
Of course, if you feel my notations are not detailed enough simply say so and efforts will be made to improve them.
AFF is back, but some posts have disappeared. I haven't seen the admins post anything about the outage.

Disclosure; We migrated server, a few hours worth of posts and PMs were lost - that's part of why the board was locked down, to minimize loss, as well as to ease transition. Now we're on a slightly different setup, and it looks like our modbot will work now - we'll see what happens.
