So when the world ends on the 21st (or sometime in 2012, or whenever), is it gonna be the fall of the human race, or just civilization?  Are we gonna have that whole post-apocalyptic world war where it's every man for himself for a few centuries, or is everyone just gonna be dead all at once?

I thought the 2012 thing was the whole earth blowing up or something.

 The more positive spin I have heard is that 2012 will be a time of change and enlightenment.

That's probably the day Fukushima Dainchi reactors explode and the entire cores evaporate up into the atmosphere. The resulting massive radiation cloud will blanket most of the northern hemisphere and everyone dies of cancer within a decade.

Ive unfortunately had to spend a lot of time with Jehovah's Wittiness, and always found it hard to keep my mouth shut when they would talk about Paradise Earth

They would talk about it like it was in their lifetime

They don't believe in Hell, do not think Jesus is God, reject the trinity, and think Michael and Jesus are the same person and all kinds of strange things

But, once I heard an elder get mad at someone for killing themselves cause " we are so close to Paradise Earth, that was just selfish"

I had to be respectful, and it was not in my place to say anything or argue

My ex SIL is a Jehovah. She converted around 6 years or so ago, she never was the sharpest tool in the shed, but some of the stuff she started preaching afterwards was crazy.

We came to an agreement though when she visited, she shut up about it, and I let her live.
