Canadian Politics

A few members have mentioned Canadian politics recently, and it seems interesting enough for a separate thread. It's a better topic than flame wars about pronouns. :yinyang:

Liberals look like the party I'd be most likely to vote for. I'd never vote Conservative, and I'm not in any position to form an opinion on Quebecer independence. I'd maybe consider the NDP, but I'm a bit dubious about populist politics. I think Green politics serve a useful purpose by trying to press for greener policies, but I'm not sure I'd chooe for them to be in power.

OK. That's my expert analysis of Canadian politics

I thought all they did was sit around the fire eating Canadian bacon drinking Molsons and listening to RUSH  who knew :zoinks:

Listen dammit, all you dorks voting in bewbs and I have to live in this country! I don't want bewbs running my country! I want a Liberal with bewbs running my country. :zoinks:

Thank god Ignatieff stepped down. Although I'm hardcore Liberal I would not want him as prime minister. The best I could have hoped for was a minority conservative goverment with the Liberals being the opposition. Instead, I got a majority goverment with the NDP being the opposition and the Liberals thrown off the highway like roadkill with a mere 38 seats in the House of Commons. Although I do have to say I like Jack Layton.

Boobs on their own lack the brain power to run a country efficiently. But boobs attached to someone smart make them appealing and capable

They already did, and they led their country into the Iraqi war.
