Ah hah.  I just figured out what you are referencing here.  The first quote was from Butterflies and the second from PPK.  I knew where to go looking for that conversation and it took me a while to track it down.  Was the first thing you did after joining run a search for "PM Quatermass" or "PM video"?  It's not like a search for PM alone will net you anything useful.

Your script for how to be a "strict mod" was rather entertaining so I do have to thank you for that.

Indeed.  A good lesson learned here.  Don't ever kiss anyone's ass.  Certainly never do it in public.  You will only get yourself labeled an ass-kisser, and by doing so will lose any credibility as an individual.

I basically had to learn the hard way that QM has no good side. I am still puzzled as to why he had the job for three years. Being a mod for that long is like being a cop for too long. You start to distrust everyone that does not have a badge.

Good question. WP was shit because of the likes of QM and that's why I don't like TallyMan, he reminds me of him too much. TallyMan is the only obstruction to having a reasonable moderator team on WP.

I think it's funny that I keep hearing people from the land of cayenne pepper talking about how glad they are they never joined the land of vanilla.  I don't think any of you could have been hurt over there, it's against the rules
